"Live Life and Achieve Excellence."
After graduating from Johnson Community College (JCC), Richard met Michael Ford of Freedom International, Inc. and Ed Vicinanza of Slight Edge, LLC, two men who became Richard’s mentors. Because of these men, Richard started his business career as a distributor with Amway. This business experience helped Richard decide that entrepreneurship was a field in which he could excel. Therefore, on July 1, 2009, Richard established Senato International, a Business Development and Marketing Management Company.
Born on November 22, 1985, in Tarrytown New York, to the parents of Richard J. Cyr and Theresa Ann Senato, Richard was raised with his younger brother, Troy, by his mother and step-father Doug Edwards in Poughkeepsie, New York. Richard attended New York Military Academy, (NYMA) in Cornwall on Hudson, New York, and then moved to Raleigh, North Carolina, where he graduated with honors from JCC, in 2004.
Growing up Richard always wanted to pursue a career in law enforcement. However, over the years still in pursuit of doing so, he has continued to grow and succeed in business, realizing a few important lessons along the way. March 2015, Richard was sworn in as a Law Enforcement Officer for the NYS Gamming Commission with Yonkers Raceway Police Dept. He has always said that you’re not living to the fullest unless you’re living to serve the people of your community. This philosophy guided him to become involved with community volunteering, which began with the Red Cross of Dutchess County, holding fundraising events to raise donations and create awareness of the charter. In 2012 Richard followed with the Executive Director of the Red Cross, Willis McCree, to Habitat for Humanity of Dutchess County. Here Richard sat on the financial committee board, where he coordinated events to raise funds for community building projects
As far as Richard’s hobbies go, he considers himself very active in outdoor sports, such as skiing, swimming, and bicycling. He enjoys Krav Maga Martial Arts, attending Broadway shows, and spending the summer at Jones Beach. At the end of every day, his passion will always be volunteering and making a difference in his community. In January 2012, Richard became Founder of Love Holds Life, Inc. (LHL), a not-for-profit organization with the purpose to provide funding of medical bills to children with cancer who are uninsured or under insured. Richard believes that LHL’s ultimate mission is to ensure children with love and life.
John Manteria became outreach coordinator of Love Holds Life Children’s Cancer Foundation (LHL) in November 2015. He was born and raised in Poughkeepsie, New York. After graduating from Arlington High School in 2003, he began his career working for the insurance industry in sales and marketing. While gaining much experience in this field, John realized his passion was to have his natural sales talents benefit others.
In May 2015 John became reacquainted with his high school friend, Richard Senato, the founder and president of Love Holds Life. After joining the LHL team, John realized this is where his passion of making a difference in the lives of others could really be brought to life. As an athlete he’s played ice hockey since age three, played on traveling teams, as well as for Arlington High School. As a child his dream was to make the NHL and play for the New York Rangers as a goaltender. Now as an adult, John plays hockey on a men’s hockey league and spends as much time as he can with his daughter, Sophia. Sophia is his motivation every day to work hard, raising awareness and receiving donations at LHL’s local events throughout the Hudson Valley and the New York metro area. John was named after one of his uncles, who died of Leukemia at age three, which is why he is inspired to help children battling cancer.
Heather Evans started volunteering for Love Holds Life in the office in January 2016. She officially joined Team LHL in September 2016 when her youngest child entered school full-time. Heather was born and raised in Westchester County, NY, and moved to Dutchess County, NY with her husband and two daughters in late 2011. Heather earned her BA in English & Communications from SUNY Potsdam and her MAT in Elementary Education from Manhattanville College. Before completing her graduate degree, Heather worked in the financial industry for close to 8 years. Shortly after receiving her MAT, she worked as a teacher, teacher aide and substitute teacher in the local school districts, and was a summer camp director for 7 seasons.
Heather's diverse background and extensive work with children motivates her to support Love Holds Life's mission and Team LHL. She feels part of her life's work is helping to ensure families receive the financial support they need during some of the most difficult times.
Heather is an avid volleyball player and loves spending time with her family, especially her daughters who are her love, peace and joy on Earth.
